Thanks to you, 2009-2010 has been a great year for Holy Childhood Association! This happened due to your ever kind, generous and never-ending dedication and commitment to the cause of the HCA mission of "our children helping the poorest children of the world."
It is the face of Jesus whom you see on these hungry faces of the poor children, who are the recipients of your generous hearts. They are forever grateful for your kindness.
,
And now in this year 2010-2011, with the new theme: “Lord, I put my faith in you." (John 9:38),
"We are sent" just like the Apostles when Jesus commissioned them to go out into the world "to make disciples of all nation." This "sending-off" - is us being commissioned to HCA ministry. Who is sending us? Jesus, himself the Lord of the Missions.
In the few pennies or nickels or quarters we drop in the HCA Advent and Lenten boxes, a sound of the coins - reminds me of the widow who dropped three coins in the collection. Jesus sees all the kind things we do for the common good of the young and old alike.
Although HCA collection is just for the kids, we are helping the parents and the adults as well who are the main support of these poor children.
"Kindness given is kindness coming back." "Whatever we do to the least of our brethren we have done it to the poor Jesus who was born in the manger. " In attendance to Him were animals in the field, not nurses in uniforms. The smelly, dusty, or muddy animals or creatures in the vicinity were his initial support and company.
Your continued help and support to HCA this year is the "Myrrh, Frankincense and Gold" offered to the young baby King Jesus.
Please know that your intentions are prayed for by all Staff of the Office for the Missions: Fr. Joe, Sr. Eva, Sr. Maru, Catherine, Lucy and yours truly (Emily), in union with all the sacrifice of the Mass by the countless missionaries in many countries of the world.
May the good Lord bless you abundantly with His Grace of: Long Life, Good Health, Happy family, Wealth, Joy, Humor, Perseverance, Love and Peace that only the Child King Jesus can give.
Blessings for a great 2010-2011 school year,
God loves you! |
