Winners were chosen from thousands of entries, a few hundred of which were submitted online.
Two students from our Diocese of San Diego were selected as winners. They are Beth Culver, a seventh grader from St. Mary’s School in Escondido and Maggie Holcomb, an eighth grader from School of the madeleine. Congratulations to both of them!
All winning entries are scheduled to be displayed at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C., during the 2020 Advent / Christmas Season. In addition, all winning artwork will be available as shareable digital greetings beginning the first week of Advent 2020. All winners receive a plaque honoring their achievements.
At our Diocesan level, selected drawings from all schools that participated will be recognized with an honorable mention. Sr. Eva Rodriguez, SJS will visit their school and will present their Christmas Artwork framed. Thank you all for sharing your Christmas Spirit!
